The Resident Chef, which started as a hobby, has grown into a full-fledged wholesale and retail business sending gourmet creations to 600 stores across the United States. Carter Tucker is originally from Atlanta but has made Arkansas his home with his family for the past several years. He started with Chick-fil-A in 2009 serving in various roles in the restaurant and the corporate office. In 2017, Carter opened up a brand new store in Maumelle. From day one, he has served both their guests and his team through a simple chicken sandwich. That simple chicken sandwich has led to tremendous opportunities to invest, impact and influence our community.
Since 1964, Chick-fil-A has been the home of the original chicken sandwich with two pickles on a toasted butter bun. The menu still has the favorites but has expanded to include several healthy alternatives to the typical fast food. The sunrise smoothie has become a fast favorite.
Carter Tucker and Chick-fil-A have quickly made an impact in Maumelle. Chick-fil-A has been open for less than a year but has already become a town favorite. The store has donated to every church, nonprofit and school in the area building a loyalty to their brand. Chick-fil-A has participated in and sponsored the Maumelle Expo, Bash on the Blvd, Maumelle 5K, Celebrating Women Events, Casino Night, Annual Banquet, The Amazing Maumelle Race and the MACC Annual Golf Tournament.
